The Palestinian presidency welcomed today, Monday, the position announced by South Africa rejecting the crimes of the Israeli occupation against our people.
In a statement, the presidency valued the call of South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor to the international community to take measures to put an end to the persistent grievances experienced by the Palestinians, and to hold Israel accountable for the inhumane conditions that the Palestinian people have been living in for 73 years.
She said: The Palestinian leadership highly appreciates the position of the people and government of South Africa, always supporting the Palestinian right.
At a conference organized by the United Nations Committee on the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, Minister Pandor said: “We are now responsible as members of the United Nations to take the necessary action, in the same way that the United Nations ultimately acted on apartheid in South Africa.” .
