Today, Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced the registration of two deaths and 228 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 267 cases of recovery, during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report, Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila said that the ministry had not recorded any deaths in the West Bank, while 42 injuries were recorded, while two deaths and 186 injuries were recorded in the Gaza Strip. She indicated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine amounted to 97.5 percent, while the percentage of active infections was 1.4 percent, and the death rate was 1.1 percent of the total infections. The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 16 injured in intensive care rooms, including 3 on respirators, while 28 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank. Regarding vaccinations, Al-Kaila explained that the number of citizens who received vaccinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 404,142, including 245,329 who received two doses of the vaccine.
