The support agreement was signed, according to a statement issued by the Cooperation Foundation, today, Sunday, through videoconferencing technology, and was signed by the Director General of the Cooperation Foundation Yara Al-Salem, the Director of the Belen Foundation 2000 "Alexis Sfeir, in the presence of the representative of the Bank of Palestine in Chile, Salim Hodley, and the Director of International Relations at the Bank Palestine, Kamel al-Husayni, and a number of officials in "cooperation".

Al-Salem appreciated the support provided by members of the Palestinian community from Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour residing in Chile, stressing its importance in supporting the health sector´s readiness, specifically the Jerusalem Hospital Network, and several hospitals in the Bethlehem Governorate and in the Gaza Strip, and the grant will enable beneficiary hospitals to obtain devices Artificial respiration to support her readiness to receive advanced cases of corona disease. She pointed out that under the agreement, "Cooperation" will provide similar support to the health sector to cover the needs of these hospitals in terms of preventive materials, tools, sterilization materials, and examination tools according to the needs of each hospital to ensure that they are fully prepared.

In turn, Sfeir stressed the Foundation´s confidence in cooperation and represented in renewing its partnership with it, especially that this agreement is the second that was concluded with the Cooperation Foundation, where the community previously provided support to the Gaza Strip during the aggression of 2015 to support the readiness of the European Hospital, expressing the readiness of the community to carry out its role in supporting Their homeland is Palestine.

For his part, Houdley expressed his happiness at the completion of this agreement, which was made with the efforts of the Bank of Palestine in Chile and Palestine as part of his efforts to mobilize funds to support the health sector in Palestine in the face of the Corona epidemic.

This agreement comes within the campaign "Palestine with Your Calls" which was launched by "Cooperation" at the end of last March in response to the emerging conditions with the spread of the Corona pandemic, and the need for urgent action to support the health sector´s readiness from the Ministry of Health and the network of Jerusalem hospitals and non-governmental institutions that deal with the epidemic, in addition to providing needs The basic food and health supplies for families that suffer from difficult living conditions, or that have lost their sources of income, and support for civil institutions that provide services, care and internal housing for the elderly and orphans in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
