The occupation shelled the territories east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip

Israeli reconnaissance planes bombed empty lands east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip Thursday evening.

According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft attacked lands with a number of missiles in the vicinity of the Karm Abu Salem crossing, the airport area, and the Sufa military site.

No injuries were reported as a result of the bombing, which apparently came in response to the firing of incendiary and explosive balloons from the Strip.
