The Israeli occupation authorities released a journalist, Alaa al-Rimawi, from the Ofer detention camp west of Ramallah on Tuesday midnight on Wednesday.
The Military Court of Appeal of the occupation in "Ofer" dismissed the appeal lodged by the occupation prosecutor on Monday, concerning the Rimawi journalist, and decided to release him on harsh terms which represented a financial guarantee of 10,000 shekels, not to leave his place of residence, and to prevent him from practising his journalistic work for two months.
The prisoners ´ club said the decision came after two previous decisions to release him on bail and the court suspended their execution at the request of the prosecution.
The Rimawi prisoner was arrested on 30 July 2018 and three other journalists were later conditionally released, as well as a fourth journalist who was later arrested and released.
