Members of the Israeli Knesset (parliament) held consultations with senior government officials, claiming the support of the occupation government by agreeing to put forward the draft law on the imprisonment of the Palestinian flag in the occupied territories in 1948, according to the Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hume".
Knesset member Anat Brcko threatened a criminal trial and a one-year prison sentence for raising the Palestinian flag on the streets of the interior.
The threat of the "law" project came as a result of a massive rally organized by the people of the interior two weeks ago, rejecting and denouncing the so-called "law of Nationalism", during which they raised the flags of Palestine in the middle of Tel Aviv.
