The so-called "Planning and Construction Committee" of the Jerusalem occupation municipality has approved a plan to build military colleges on Palestinian land in the village of "Ein Karem" in Jerusalem, official Hebrew radio reported on Tuesday.
She added that the Commission had approved the scheme despite strong opposition from the Franciscan church and its nationals, because of fears that the construction might cause the water to dry in the spring of "Ein Mariam", a sacred site for Christians.
and "Ein Karem" is one of the most important and largest villages in occupied Jerusalem and is located on the road between them and Jaffa. The occupation abandoned its original inhabitants during the Nakba, and turned it into a settlement with the same name.
