The occupation destroys water lines in the northern Jordan Valley

The occupation forces destroyed the water lines carrying to the Qaaoun plain in the northern Jordan Valley, due to the military exercises in the agricultural lands in that area.

A member of Bardala Village Council, Dirar Sawafta, stated that the occupation destroyed a 200-meter-long iron water line, after Israeli tanks passed over it, during their participation in military exercises last night.

In a related context, dozens of Israeli military vehicles were stationed today, Friday, on the outskirts of the villages of Tayasir and Aqaba in the northern Jordan Valley.

"The mechanisms were stationed on the outskirts of the two villages since morning hours, after conducting military exercises in the area for a week," said human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh.

It is noteworthy that the occupation uses this area annually for military exercises, some of which extend for days, during which families are expelled from their homes, and they use live ammunition, which causes damage and losses to agricultural lands and crops.
