A number of citizens and journalists were injured by rubber bullets and suffocation due to their targeting by the occupation army in Kafr Qaddum village after the end of Friday prayers and the launch of the weekly march towards the closed entrance to the town since 2003.
Murad Shtaiwi, coordinator of the weekly march, said: "The weekly march was launched this week with the title of confronting the policy of annexation and calling for strengthening efforts to confront the occupation policy in annexing the Palestinian territories."
He added, "The Israeli occupation forces, who participated in the march and journalists, were suppressed by live and rubber bullets and tear gas after storming the town from several axes, which led to a number of injuries caused by rubber bullets and suffocation.
