The occupation closes the gates of al-Aqsa after a fire broke out in a police station

Israeli occupation forces sealed off the gates of the al-Aqsa mosque on Tuesday afternoon after a fire broke out in an Israeli police post in the town of Bahat.

Local sources said that special forces entered the mosque, while closing the gates and preventing the entry of worshipers.

A media official in the Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem, said that the elements of the Israeli police brutally assaulted a large number of those present in the mosque of men, women and children and employees of endowments, and religious authorities, including Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani and Sheikh Wasif Bakri.

"What is happening needs a quick move to save Al-Aqsa.

The seventh Hebrew channel reported that a suspect was arrested for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at the police station inside al-Aqsa.
