Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces razed agricultural lands in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus. Imad Jamil, a member of Qasra municipality, confirmed to Wafa that the occupation bulldozed agricultural lands near the “Majdolim” settlement, which was built on citizens’ lands north of the town, and set up a barbed wire fence.
He said that the occupation has prevented landowners from plowing and accessing them for a long time, warning of the danger of this, especially with the approach of the olive season.
The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said that the “Majdolim” settlement, which is built on the lands of Qusra, is witnessing expansion works.
He added that weeks ago, the surrounding lands in the settlement were undergoing razing, and recently the fence was moved outside the settlement on the western and northern sides in the Al-Qena area, and ready-made concrete was poured over the new expansion on an area of 20 dunums.
