The occupation arrests 6 Palestinians, one of whom was shot

The occupation army arrested six citizens at dawn today, Sunday, from the West Bank, and wounded a fifth between the towns of Ya`bad and Zabadeh, southwest of Jenin.

According to the Prisoner´s Club: Over the course of eight days, the occupation forces arrested 60 citizens of the West Bank, and the arrests were concentrated in Jerusalem, Nablus, and Jenin.

The director of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, Muntaser Sammour, told Al-Quds that three young men from Ya’bad had been arrested, namely Adham Ali Armilat, Shalan Kiwan Abu Bakr, and the young man wounded by live bullets, Abdullah Bassem Abu Bakr, who was transferred to an Israeli hospital.

The occupation army claimed that the youths threw Molotov cocktails and stones at the settlers´ cars, before the occupation army shot them, injuring one of them and arresting two others.

According to local sources, the young man, Amir Al-Karaki, was arrested after his house was stormed and searched in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem.

From Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested the 17-year-old boy, Ahmed Nabil Ahmed Thawabteh, after raiding and searching his family´s house, and detaining his uncle Anwar Ahmed Thawabita for hours.

In the city of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested Abd al-Hadi al-Qawasmi from al-Shallala Street in the center of the city, after raiding and searching his house.
