This evening, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 45 Birzeit University students as they were leaving the town of Turmusaya (north of Ramallah), and detained a bus that was carrying them at the entrance to the town, after a visit to the family of the prisoner Montaser Shalabi.
The occupation forces forced all the students to get off the bus, handcuffed them, sat them on the ground, and checked their IDs.
Student sources said that the occupation forces arrested 45 students from the university after a visit organized by the Islamic Bloc and the student frameworks to the family of the captive Shalabi.
During the students´ return, special forces from the occupation army (undercover) in two commercial vehicles intercepted the students´ road and detained them at the entrance to Turmusaya, before arresting them and taking them to an unknown destination and confiscating the bus.
