Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 500 Palestinians, including boys and children, a month ago, following the latest incidents in the town of Issawiya, said Mohammed Obaid, the head of the prisoner club in Jerusalem.
In an interview with the official Voice of Palestine radio, Arch said that the arrests hit citizens from different parts of Jerusalem, while the highest rate was recorded in the town of Issawiya, which witnessed the arrest of more than 300 cases of different ages.
He added that the Israeli occupation authorities are trying to impose their control by force on the Holy City through the policy of terrorizing citizens, stressing that the recent increase in the number of prisoners is an indication of the Israeli occupation targeting all those who confront its policies and violations from the ports of Jerusalem and its suburbs.
