The Association of "Palestinian Prisoner Club" human rights, on Sunday, that the Israeli occupation forces arrested during the period of Eid al-Adha 48 citizens of the West Bank; including boys and a woman and a journalist.
The rights group said in a statement today that the Israeli arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Jerusalem and Hebron. She pointed out that at least 25 Palestinians were arrested from the Jerusalem governorate and its towns, and reached its peak on the first day of Eid al-Adha, after the confrontation that took place in the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a result of settlers storming. At least 9 people were arrested from several towns in Hebron, 5 from Bethlehem, as well as from Jenin, Nablus, 3 from Qalqilya and Jericho. The prisoner club noted that the Israeli occupation forces arrested last night and dawn on Sunday, at least five citizens, including Malik Sha´fout from Dheisheh camp, and Ibrahim Yousef Al-Sheikh from the town of Marah Rabah.
