The Israeli occupation army said Sunday that a young man was killed after being wounded and arrested in the northern Gaza Strip.
"The soldiers spotted a young man who approached the security fence on the border of the Gaza Strip and shot him, which resulted in his injuries, was transported for treatment and later died of his wounds," a statement from the Israeli army said.
Local sources later said the martyr Mohammed Attaf Mohammed Saleh, 28.
The occupation army´s statement to arrest three youths tried to cross the security fence before arresting them and transporting them to investigate.
Earlier, local sources reported that a young man had been wounded by the occupation and arrested by the occupation east of Jabaliya, north of the Gaza Strip, and three youths who had infiltrated into the occupied territories east of the Bureij refugee camp in the middle of the strip.
