The Palestinian Ministry of Health has received 50 ventilators from the German representative to support it in facing the Corona pandemic.
The Minister of Health indicated during the receipt of the devices in the Ministry’s building in Ramallah that 15 devices will be sent to the Gaza Strip, praising the German government´s continued support to the Ministry of Health.
Dr. said. Al-Keela that the German government has greatly supported the Palestinian health sector, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, confirming the need for ministry hospitals in the West Bank and Gaza Strip for artificial respirators.
For his part, Deputy Head of the German Representative, Michael Herold, said: "We all hope to contain the spread of the Corona virus, and that patients do not need artificial respirators."
The delivery was attended by the Director of the World Health Organization Office in Palestine, Dr. Gerald Rockenshoab, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Wael Al-Sheikh and a number of general managers in the ministry.
