Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu swore in Israel´s Knesset on Tuesday with all lawmakers who won parliamentary elections on April 9.
Netanyahu was among 120 members of the Knesset who were sworn in at a formal ceremony.
Netanyahu´s Likud party won 35 out of 120 seats in parliament, the same number as the main rival in the center-left coalition of former army chief Benny Gantz.
The Likud won a majority of 65 seats in parliament, thanks to a coalition of right-wing parties.
Netanyahu´s outgoing government is the most right-wing government in Israel´s history, and his next government is expected to swoop to the right.
Netanyahu faces the prospect of being the first prime minister to face charges.
The Israeli Attorney General announced his intent to charge him with fraud, exploitation of trust and bribery.
If charged, Netanyahu, 69, will not be forced to step down until he is convicted and all appeals are exhausted.
The Israeli attorney general gave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu until the end of next week to confirm his desire to hold an official hearing to defend himself before filing corruption cases against him.
The hearing is expected to be held before July 10.
