Doctors and nurses at Al Awda Hospital refuse to evacuate and describe the situation as “catastrophic.”

Today, Saturday, doctors and nurses refused to obey the Israeli occupation army’s orders to evacuate Al Awda Hospital in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.

Director of Al Awda Hospital, Ahmed Muhanna, said that the hospital’s medical staff, consisting of 35 doctors and nurses, are facing catastrophic conditions due to the rapid increase in the number of martyrs and wounded, stressing their determination to stay and provide service to patients, including critical cases.

Yesterday, the occupation army threatened to bomb the hospital and gave those in it 24 hours to evacuate.
