The decision of the Minister of the Occupation Army, Naftali Bennett, regarding the cessation of the import of agricultural products from the Palestinian territories, came into effect at six in the morning today, Sunday.
According to the website of the seventh Hebrew channel, the office of the Coordinator of Governmental Activities has implemented the decision.
The decision was signed last Friday as a reaction to the ongoing calves crisis between the relevant Israeli authorities and the Palestinian government.
The decision indicated that if the authority decides to stop its "unilateral moves and return to the established agreements," Bennett will reconsider his decision.
The Palestinian government confirmed that it would take appropriate action to respond to this step.
