The encrypted messaging app Telegram has announced the launch of paid services from 2021 to finance its growth, according to one of its Russian founders.
Pavel Durov wrote on his channel on the app that "Telegram will start generating revenues from next year" through new paid services and an advertising platform, stressing that "most users will practically not notice any change."
