Dozens of citizens suffocated today, Friday, during the Israeli occupation army´s suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddoum village march, east of Qalqilya, against settlements and demanding the opening of the village street that was closed 17 years ago.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in the village, Murad Shteiwi, stated that the occupation soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters, causing dozens of suffocation and field treatment.
He pointed out that the participants raised banners condemning the decisions of the Israeli occupation government to build thousands of new settlement units on West Bank lands.
