A number of civilians suffocated due to inhaling gas fired by the occupation soldiers during clashes that erupted with dozens of youths at the northern entrance to Bethlehem last night, according to the official agency (Wafa).
According to the agency, security sources and eyewitnesses reported that the clashes broke out in the vicinity of Bilal bin Rabah Mosque, during which the soldiers fired a barrage of tear gas and sound bombs, which caused suffocation injuries, and a young man was arrested, whose identity was not known.
