The Spanish Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Services said in a daily report that the number of new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Spain increased from 19980 on Friday to 24926 today.
The number of deaths from the disease rose sharply from 1,002 to 1,328, while 2,125 recovered.
Madrid remains the worst affected area, with 8921 injuries and 804 deaths.
