Settlers uproot Batta Olive saplings

On Tuesday, settlers uprooted olive saplings in al-Hamra area east of Yatta, south of Hebron.

 

The coordinator of the People´s and National committees south of Hebron, Rateb Jabbour, said the settlers "ma´on" uprooted more than 23 olive seedlings in Al-Hamra area east of Touana village, owned by Juma Musa Jebril quarter.

 

He noted that the uprooting of olive trees in the region had been repeated several times over the past few years, explaining that settler attacks were aimed at displacing the Palestinian population from their land, to implement new settlement plans and to expand settlements on citizens ´ land and property.
