A group of settlers stormed at dawn today, Monday, the town of Kafel Haris in the Salfit governorate, under the pretext of performing religious rituals in the Islamic shrines inside the town.
The conductor of Salfit Mahmoud Saleh governorate condemned this storming and held the occupation government fully responsible for the settlers´ provocative and barbaric practices against the people of the province. He called on the people to be vigilant about the recurrence of these attacks, and for the protection committees to double their efforts to counter these attacks.
According to the residents, dozens of settlers stormed the town under the protection of the occupation army, and the settlers began acts of orgy, swearing insults at the people, shouting, terrorizing the citizens and throwing stones, which caused the glass of a number of vehicles and houses to break.
The head of the municipality of Kafeel Haris Issam Abu Yaqoub said that a number of settlers stormed the town in the early hours of the dawn in a provocative manner, and attacked citizens´ homes and their private properties.
