Dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday from the Mughrabi Gate under heavy protection from the Israeli police.
According to eyewitnesses, among the intruders was former Israeli Minister of Agriculture Yuri Ariel.
