Around 100 armed settlers stormed on Thursday the archaeological pools of Suleiman south of Bethlehem and a high mountain hill overlooking the nearby village of Artas under the protection of the Israeli army soldiers.
The settlers, mostly young men, wandered in the ponds and forests they washed from their eyes, and a number of them swimming in one of the pools claiming that it is a sacred area for Jews.
According to security sources, Israeli soldiers closed the area around the place during the incursions.
