Settlers assaulted farmers and their land in the village of Umm Safa and Jibiya, north of Ramallah, on Tuesday evening, placing barbed wire on land estimated at 150 dunums.
Um Safa village council chairman Marwan Sabah said settlers were from the nearby settlement of Halmish. They assaulted farmers near the village of Umm Safa and fired their cows into the citizens´ lands in order to destroy crops.
He pointed out that the settlers have placed iron corners and barbed wire around an area of ​​more than 150 dunums in preparation for control, pointing out that this area is located in areas "C" and "B".
