Settlers, accompanied by rabbis, storm the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque

On Sunday, settlement groups stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the "Mugrabi Gate" on the southern side of the mosque, amid tight security reinforcements from the Israeli occupation authorities.

Local sources pointed out that settlement groups, led by Jewish rabbis, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and began touring its courtyards.

She explained that the incursions took place amid tight security measures, as large forces of the Israeli police deployed in Al-Aqsa courtyards, and at its gates, to secure the settlers ’raids.

The settlers returned to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque after it reopened on May 31, following a closure that lasted more than two months due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
