Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump´s plan for the Middle East peace process will perpetuate the conflict.
Sanders tweeted, saying that any peace plan must end the Israeli occupation and allow the Palestinians to decide their fate in the form of their independent state alongside Israel.
He considered that Trump´s plan does not come close to that, but rather perpetuates the conflict.
Joe Biden, the second Democrat nominee, previously reported on the plan, which he considered to be political deception by Trump.
