Gideon Sa´ar, leader of the New Hope party, announced today, Monday, his opposition to the two-state solution for two peoples.
Sa´ar said at a hypothetical conference organized in Washington by the Brookings Institution for Research, that the Palestinians had rejected all proposals of this kind in the past. He was also quoted by the Arabic-speaking Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation.
"This is due to their desire to annihilate Israel instead of ending the conflict with it," he added.
