Russia is in talks with Turkey to sell its stealth fighter Sukhoi 57, a senior Russian official said Wednesday.
The plane, which is close to the possibilities with the American F-35 fighter jet, was presented to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit yesterday to an aviation exhibition in the Moscow region.
The United States has suspended the participation of Turkey, its ally in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), in the program of F-35 fighter jets in response to Ankara´s purchase of systems S400 - Russian air defense.
The United States is of the view that the IS400- and F35- cannot meet.
