Russia will hand over two weeks of modern air defense systems "s-300" to the Syrian army after it accidentally dropped a Russian airliner during an Israeli raid, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Monday.
"The Syrian armed forces will take over the modern defense systems as 300 in two weeks," said Shoogo, noting that these systems "are capable of intercepting any aircraft more than 250 kilometers away and can strike several targets in the atmosphere simultaneously."
He explained that the handover of these modern systems had not been carried out because of Israeli reservations.
