In a report, the movement documented many testimonies and accounts that confirm this fact, and in one of these cases the 15-year-old child Bashar Hamad, from Qalandia camp, north of Jerusalem, tells the details of his injury with a rubber-coated metal bullet in his right eye, which led to its eradication.

The child, Bashar, said: “I was near the big mosque of the camp with my brother, who is two years older than me. We were on our way home, returning from school, and during that time we noticed the presence of the occupation forces at the entrance to the camp, and that a number of soldiers were on the rooftops, so we knew that they were going to enter the camp.”

He added: “It was on Tuesday (11/17/2020) and at around 1:15 in the afternoon, the soldiers started firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters very intensely, to the point where I could no longer see, even my brother no longer saw him, and I did not want Returning home without him, so I stopped near the mosque for a while and during that I felt something very strong hit my right eye, so I put my hand on it, and if it was bleeding profusely. He added that a number of young men took his child in a private vehicle to Hadassah Al-Isawiya Hospital, and then he was transferred to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital.

The father explained that his child underwent two surgeries, the first was to stop the bleeding caused by the injury and the second was to restore the fractures in the skull, indicating that his child´s left eye was removed because it was completely damaged, and that the doctors tried to keep it, but because there was a wound behind it and to treat it, it had to be done. Eliminate it for fear of any negative health consequences for the child.

"

He explained that not all of the bullet fragments had been extracted, "part of it remained in Amir´s head because extracting it was dangerous to his life."

He said, "The injury left an impact on Amir, so he could not move the right part of his body except in a very simple way, and also affected his speech, and he would need several sessions of physical therapy."

As for the fourth case documented by the movement, it was related to the child Muhammad Shteiwi (15 years) from the village of Kafr Qaddum in the Qalqilya Governorate, who is still undergoing treatment and is completely unable to move on his own, due to his injury with a rubber-coated metal bullet on the right side of his head that penetrated his skull. During clashes with the Israeli occupation forces, which broke out in the village, on January 30, 2020.
