The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced this morning, Saturday, that it had recorded one death and 198 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated in its daily report that the death belonged to Fayza Al-Masry (85 years old), a resident of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and was receiving treatment at the European Gaza Hospital.
It indicated that 187 new recoveries were recorded among the injured.
It stated that the central laboratory examined 2748 new samples during the same period.
The total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March reached 6,545, including 2,387 active cases, 4,124 recoveries, and 34 deaths.
