Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health confirmed the registration of 8 new deaths from the Corona virus, which raises the number of deaths in Palestine since the beginning of the pandemic to 553 deaths.
In its daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus, the Ministry confirmed that 504 new cases of the virus were recorded, which brings the total number of infections to 64,741 cases, while 448 recoveries were recorded, bringing the number of people recovering to 57,234.
The Minister of Health, Mai al-Kaila, said that the new deaths were recorded for a 60-year-old citizen from Abwain, a citizen (86 years), a citizen (60 years) from Ramallah and al-Bireh, a citizen (50 years), a citizen (56 years) from Hebron, and a citizen ( 69 years old) from Salfit, citizen (52 years) from Jericho, citizen (53 years) from Rafah.
She added that the new infections were distributed in the governorates as follows:
Hebron (37).
Nablus (82).
Bethlehem (49).
Qalqilya (7).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh (35).
Jenin (34).
Jericho and Al Aghwar (11).
Salfit (33).
Tulkarm (23).
Tubas (3).
Gaza Strip (178).
The suburbs of Jerusalem (12), indicating that 4,228 examinations were performed.
She explained that recovery cases were recorded in the governorates according to the following: Hebron (38), Nablus (65), Tulkarm (48), Qalqiliya (18), Jenin (30), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (104), Salfit (2), Tubas (8) , Gaza Strip (135), confirming that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 88.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.7%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 39 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
