A total strike on Monday, all the facilities of the UNRWA/UNRWA Palestinian refugee agency in the Gaza Strip, was paralyzed in escalatory steps and the employees ´ union decided to reject the downsizing policies and assert employees ´ rights.
The strike included schools, medical clinics and other facilities affiliated with "UNRWA ", with the participation of more than 13,000 employees from all sectors.
The union is expected to announce new marches and events in protest against the agency´s policies against employees and refugees, and a rejection of U.S. decisions.
On Wednesday, some 13,000 employees took part in a major rally called by the Staff Union as part of its trade unions, which are expected to escalate in the coming days.
