The Israeli occupation authorities released, on Wednesday evening, the prisoner Alaa Abu Jazar (43 years), from the city of Rafah, after a 17-year arrest.
The occupation authorities had transferred the prisoner Abu Jazar to investigation a day before his release, and extended his detention for 48 hours for investigation, and informed his family of their intention not to release him.
It is noteworthy that the prisoner Abu Jazar is the father of a single daughter, "Jumana Abu Jazar", where he was arrested and she was a child who was not several months old at the time, and she lost her mother during his detention, and also lost her grandfather and uncle Ayman, who was also martyred during his arrest.
