Three citizens were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and others suffocated by tear gas, Friday, as a result of the suppression by the Israeli occupation forces of the peaceful, weekly anti-settlement village of Kafr Qaddum, which demanded the opening of the closed village street 16 years ago.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in the village, Murad Shtewi, stated that the occupation soldiers attacked the participants in the march, and fired a barrage of live bullets and "rubber" and tear gas towards them.
Dozens of citizens and foreign solidarity participated in the march, and chanted slogans and national chants calling for an escalation of popular resistance.
