Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said Saturday that the proposed US plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians was "totally unacceptable" and "unjust".
According to "Bloomberg" news agency, Mahathir said that the peace plan, known as the "Deal of the Century" proposed by US President Donald Trump, presents Jerusalem to the Israeli side on a silver platter, in complete disregard of the feelings of millions of Muslims and Christians in the world.
In a speech at the opening of the third conference of the "Parliamentarians for Jerusalem" conference in Kuala Lumpur today, Mahathir added: "This deal will only bring more conflict in the region, and it will stir the feelings of anger of billions of people in the world."
