President Abbas: We live in one of the most dangerous stages and we will not accept less than independence

President Mahmoud Abbas said: the stage that our people and our cause are living in may be one of the most dangerous stages in the lives of the Palestinian people. The conspiracy that began with the Balfour agreement is not yet over, and if that fateful promise goes through, then the deal of the century will not pass. Palestine and the diaspora, and they will not find one honourable Palestinian who accepts less than the right of our people to freedom, sovereignty and independence, on the territory of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders.

The president said in his speech on Saturday evening, on the 14th anniversary of the departure of President Yasser Arafat: Victory is inevitably coming and the occupation to the demise even after a while.

"We are all invited, more than ever, to unite and rally around the PLO, the sole legitimate representative of our Palestinian people everywhere, and the leader of their national struggle, to protect our historic and enduring national rights: East Jerusalem is the capital of our nation, with its people and institutions And their Christian and Islamic sacred.  "

The President stressed that no one had the right to remove the file of Palestinian refugees from the table, take action against the agency "UNRWA" and try to discredit the refugee population, as a prelude to the liquidation of the Palestinian issue.

"Our national unity is our most precious asset, which is our strongest weapon to confront the liquidation projects and conspiracies that hatched against our national cause, and the attempts to separate Gaza from the homeland will not pass," he said.

Abbas paid tribute to the prisoners in the Israeli jails and their relatives who said that "we will not abandon them and continue to pay their allocations even if the last we have, wishing our wounded a speedy recovery, we and our people and you all have a date with victory, freedom and independence."
