Porsche´s top-grossing luxury cars have recovered the world´s most attractive car rankings according to the annual JD Power survey, BMW and South Korea´s Jensis, which took first place in 2018. At the same time, the American light truck Ram was the most advanced car on the list compared to last year´s ranking.
The automotive news site Auto News noted that the luxury Jinsis of the South Korean Hyundai Motors group topped the list last year and ended the occupation of Porsche for the first time in 13 years.
At the same time, luxury cars once again dominated JD Power´s list of the most attractive cars in the market, with the German Audi in fourth place, Volvo in fifth place and Land Rover in sixth place and Lincoln "In seventh place.
JD Power´s annual survey measures the extent of emotional attachment to car owners and the excitement they feel with their new vehicles through 77 properties. This study can assist manufacturers in reassessing or redesigning their cars. Each brand is awarded a score through a scale of 1000 points.
Porsche´s appeal this year rose 8 points to 891 points, while the BMW and Geneses came in second with 868 points, with BMW´s five Points from last year and lost "Jensis" 16 points from last year.
Dave Sargent, vice president of global auto segment at JD Power, told Auto News that the less expensive G-70 model of the Jensis was the one that reduced the brand´s grading index.
