Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fears peace and does not want it and shuns any real initiative to reach an agreement with the Palestinians, Labor leader Amir Peretz said on Saturday.
Peretz said in remarks reported by Channel 13 Hebrew, that Netanyahu did not want one day to peace, indicating that when he was a minister in his government with Tzipi Livni, refused to take a decision on peace, but did not.
He stressed that he would support any plan or initiative for peace, and that in such a case Netanyahu would give a safety net for such an initiative or plan, indicating that this would be outside the participation of his party to any government led by Netanyahu and not from within. Stressing that his party will not join the Netanyahu government.
