Israel´s Labor Party decided on Saturday to file a defamation suit against the son of Israeli Prime Minister Yair Netanyahu after he attacked former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin.
According to the Maariv website, the party´s leader, Amir Peretz, called on the legal advisor to prepare a defamation suit against Netanyahu´s son after tweeting hostile tweets against Rabin.
"As a person responsible for Rabin´s legacy and as it continues, I will not allow the denial of the identity of the Israeli hero and the owner of war and peace," Peretz said.
Netanyahu´s son accused Rabin of violating the law in America and was gaining private wealth.
