The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced the registration of 9 deaths, 1,251 new cases of corona, and 1,159 recoveries in the country.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, Minister Al-Kaila added, today, Wednesday, that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.2%, while the rate of active infections reached 12%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
She explained that 5 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (72-year-old citizen from Silat al-Harithiya, 77-year-old citizen from Jenin camp in Jenin governorate, 73-year-old citizen from Tulkarm, and 67-year-old citizen from Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm governorate, 88-year-old citizen from Hebron) In addition to 4 civilians from the Gaza Strip.
Regarding recovery cases, 824 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 81, Jenin 24, Nablus 377, Tulkarm 34, Qalqilya 13, Salfit 8, Bethlehem 229, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 48, Tubas 10) and the Gaza Strip 335.
It added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (98), Nablus Governorate (178), Bethlehem Governorate (105), Qalqilya Governorate (21), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (81), Jenin (56), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (10) ), Salfit (20), Tulkarm (33), Tubas (18), the Gaza Strip (600), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (31).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 43 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 10 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
