Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health recorded 18 deaths due to Corona virus, and 2,300 new infections, after examining 9186 samples.
12 deaths were distributed in the West Bank (Nablus 5, Bethlehem 1, Salfit 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Jenin 1, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2), 5 deaths in Jerusalem, and one death in the Gaza Strip.
The health said that 135 patients were in intensive care, and 32 were on artificial respirators.
It indicated that the percentage of active injuries out of all injuries in Palestine reached 9.4%, the death rate was 1.1%, and the recovery rate reached 89.5%.
A total of 1,694 new recoveries were recorded, including 291 in Jerusalem, 1250 in the West Bank, and 153 in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: Qalqilya 85, Hebron 367, Nablus 293, Bethlehem 172, Jerusalem suburbs 100, Salfit 79, Tulkarm 100, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 378, Jenin 76, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 44, Tubas 27. Gaza Strip 156, Jerusalem 423.
