The Indian International Film Academy, dubbed "Oscar Bollywood", has postponed its award ceremony due to fears of the outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid 19).
The academy said the three-day award ceremony scheduled for the end of the month was postponed "due to growing concerns about the spread of the Covid 19 virus and for preserving the health and safety of fans of the International Film Academy and the general community as a whole."
The concert, the largest concert of its kind in the year for the huge film industry in India, was scheduled to take place in the central state of Madhya Pradesh from 27-29 March.
