The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, this morning, Monday, that it had recorded a death and 77 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the ministry stated that the death case was for a citizen Shehha Mustafa Qweider (83 years), a resident of Gaza City, who was staying in intensive care at the European Gaza Hospital.
She indicated that 35 new recoveries from the virus were recorded.
It stated that the central laboratory examined 1,691 new samples during the same period.
The total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March has reached 4,722, including 1,859 active cases, 2,835 recoveries and 28 deaths.
