Ehud Olmert, the former Israeli Prime Minister, said today, Sunday, that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is the only real and existing partner with whom he can negotiate.
In an interview with Yedioth Ahronoth´s live broadcast studio, Olmert accused Benjamin Netanyahu, the current prime minister, of not wanting peace, and that he opposed the US peace plan called "Deal of the Century".
"Netanyahu and all of his partners are against the two-state solution," he added. Denying Olmert that he is waging a battle against US President Donald Trump as Netanyahu claims in his statements.
Olmert has denied the accusations made by Netanyahu that he is working as an adviser to his rival Benny Gantz. "I am not a consultant or responsible for any position, I am only responsible for my actions," he said.
